This project, delivered in partnership with Harmeny School and the Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art, will create innovative and accessible ways for young people with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs to tell their own stories. We’re pleased to be able to support Little Animation Studio to bring these fantastic opportunities for creative learning to young people.” Creative Scotland

about the projecty

Devised and led by Dr. Katja Frimberger and Simon Bishopp, Little Animation Studio is an innovative animation project that supports children with additional support needs to create their own short fully-animated short film.
They animate their own characters, props and sets, created from drawings, plasticine models and photo-collages.
Using easy-to-use gamepad and touch-screen technology they bring to life their stories and characters on-screen to create a film they can share with others.
We are delighted to work with our partners, Harmeny Education Trust and the Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art.
The children’s film is currently being shown at the GOMA until January 2021.
You can learn more about the exhibition here.
